The BOTOX® Cosmetic Procedure

Prior to your BOTOX® treatment, Bonita Springs cosmetic surgeon Dr. Casey is going to discuss your aesthetic goals with you. Based on this discussion, he will determine the appropriate injection location, as well as the effective dosage for the wrinkle at that site. Once the injection site has been carefully cleansed, Dr. Casey can begin your treatment with Botox. Botox Cosmetic injections are performed without anesthesia because they are virtually painless. Only a very small sting is felt when the injections are made.

How does Botox work to treat wrinkles?

Lines and furrows gradually appear on the face because of muscle activity. When Botox is injected into those tiny muscles of the face, it blocks the chemical process that tells those muscles to move, allowing the wrinkles to flatten out.

How long does it take for the results to appear?
